Information:The route the cattle took to Lonamar changed when the inhabitants of Port Bàn started growing flax. They went round An Lòn Bàn which was white with the flowers of flax steeping - Angus MacLean, Scarinish, 10/2011. The gate was closed with old rafters from a house. Now filled up with stones. The old droving road for cattle was along Traigh Mhor, up through Brock and on to the raised beach between Ruaig and Milton, through Bealach nam Bò to Lonamar - Angus MacLean, Scarinish.
