Information:Dòmhnall Òg was the younger brother of Donald MacKinnon, the captain of the Taeping. He accidentally shot and killed himself while out hunting in Baugh around 1863. People could see the mark where he had been dragging his gun behind him. The trigger must have accidentally caught in a root. He is buried in Kirkapol old cemetery and marked on the family stone. The stone wall down to the river was being built at the time and it was never finished. There is a fence there now. Angus MacLean, Scarinish, 9/2008.
