Information: Jack McEwen was one of the brewing family who lived in Heanish in the 1930s as a remittance man. He often fished at this rock - Angus Munn, Heanish.
He stayed with the Rev MacFarlane's daughters, Mrs MacKenzie and Miss MacFarlane. He made a tenneis court on the back lawn and played in full whites with the ladies under parasols - MMcK.
