Information: There is a layer of peat in the banks of this stream, which may have given rise to its alternative name, An Abhainn Ruadh. This was cut and burnt. The old folks maintained it was coal from the Vivo - JMcC.
There was a second bridge lower down this stream which has now gone - EK.
