Information:Sìoraidh was a nickname. This croft is on the west side of Beinn Ghot. One year they sowed barley here in the morning and by the evening you could see it green (sprouted) from Scarinish - DMcP.

They soaked seed in formalin in the old days to kill blight and it was almsot sprouting when it was sown - Lachie Cameron, Balevullin, 5/1994.
