Information:'On checking with Lachy MacFarlane, Hynish, he confirmed that as a child [between the wars?] he remembered seeing the foundations of a windmill on the far side of the burn about 40 meters to the SW from my assumed waterwheel position [between two large rocks]. I can see nothing obvious there today but he was adamant the in his grandfather's time there had been a windmill there.' Patrick Lorimer, Millport, 8/2020
