Information:Two beacons were placed on Bho Pheag [sic] but were washed away in 1844 and 45. See Alan Stevenson’s account, p 174.
He also built a small beacon on Bo Pheg, 1 mile NE of Hynish Point. Two steel beacons were put on this but they both washed away after a few months (p.174). Account of the Skerryvore Lighthouse by Alan Stevenson, 1848 (AI cat no 2001.144.1)
