Information:The Camerons moved from Craignish either in 1910 or 1912. They were fishermen but had no ground for crofting and fishing was becoming less profitable. They put in for MacFadyen’s farm at Miodar when it became vacant and they were successful. This farm was put together from 3-4 crofts. One was Croit Ailein a’ Grudaire or Croit Iain mhic Ailein (nearest Urvaig), and another Croit a’ Charnain (MacLeans). Angus MacLean, Scarinish.
