Information:There were two brothers living in Balephuil, Neil and Calum Sinclair. Neil met a girl from Balemartine (a relation of Neil MacDonald, Balevulllin) at a wedding and was dancing with her. After that, every time he went out a fog descended and he became lost. He always ended up at that girl’s house. One day Calum came in from fishing, soaked. He borrowed his brother’s coat and, when he went out, he too was also enveloped by a thick mist and ended up in Balemartine. He looked behind the lapaid (lapel) and there was a pin with a green thread. It was buideachd! “That’s true!” Willie MacLean, Balinoe, 2/2008.
