Sackhill was built around 1900 by the Clachaire Mòr (the grandfather of Alasdair MacArthur, Balemartine). The walls cost £14 to build. Sackhill was called Cnoc nam Bagaichean. Hugh MacKinnon, Torr a’ Bhaile, 9/2008.
