Information:Named after her maternal great grandfather, Colin Campbell, a stonemason who came to Tiree for the building of Skerryvore lighthouse - EK.

Her great grandfather was a Colin Campbell who was a stonemason who came from Ardnamurchan to work on Skerryvore lighthouse. He got a croft up Ùtraid Bean na Sgiobair. He married a Lismore woman and had a son Thomas, who had a son Colin, who had a son Sandy - Jessie McKinnon, Mannal, 9/1997 and 3/1998.
