Information:Farquharson came to Tiree first to buy cattle and then returned as a minister. He wrote Gaelic hymns and he went to Mary MacEachern's grandmother at the smithy to put tunes to them - Alec MacLean, Cornaigbeg, 10/1994. The land around this was called The Glebe - Hugh Archie MacCallum, Whitehouse, 2/1994.
